Is Nescafe Black Coffee Healthy?
A cup of brewed black coffee without added cream or sugar contains only five calories and no fat compared with pre-made instant coffee mixtures that include sugar, milk powder, creamers, and flavorings, which may contain up to 120 calories and 15 grams of fat per 8-ounce serving. A small study revealed that drinking approximately one quarter cup per day did not adversely impact healthy people’s blood sugar control, while overweight participants who consumed two or three cups of dark roast coffee daily experienced reduced digestive distress compared with those who consumed two to three light-roast coffee weekly.
Black coffee offers several health advantages, such as its moderate amounts of antioxidants that may lower your risk for serious conditions like heart disease and cancer by protecting cells from damage. Furthermore, caffeine has been demonstrated to boost energy levels and enhance concentration.
