OldTown White Coffee In Singapore Amid controversy surrounding an alleged racist statement made by a Cabinet minister, OldTown White Coffee made clear today that all food and beverages served at its outlets are halal. A statement released by OldTown White Coffee reads as follows: The chain operator stated its central kitchens continue to meet with Department of Islamic Development Malaysia’s (JAKIM) stringent requirements regarding their halal standards”.
Jakim certified its outlets in Indonesia as compliant with their requirements as they were operated by an Indonesian halal company. Furthermore, restaurants in Malaysia and Australia as well as instant coffee and drink mix products sold through supermarkets worldwide had also received certification by Jakim.
