What is Healthier Dry Coffee Creamer?
An effective powdered coffee creamer begins with a base that is non-GMO, low or no added sugars and free from artificial flavors. If additional sweetening is desired, natural options like raw cane sugar and coconut sugar (both less processed) could work or spices can add flavor without extra calories. For an added nutritional boost, consider including some MCT Oil powder for sustained energy or collagen peptides to support skin and joint health – or both!
Make the smart choice: opt for dairy over plant milk creamers, which typically contain high amounts of unhealthy fats such as canola or sunflower oil and don’t taste as creamy. Whole milk offers 10 calories per tablespoon–well below most sweetened creamers–if dairy isn’t your thing, there are nondairy options such as Califia Farms almond and oat varieties or Oatly barista edition oat milk which offer better fat sources; or try liquid creamers without sucralose or acesulfame potassium; instead opt for those containing safer gums (like gellan or guar).
