Does Starbucks Offer Organic Decaf Coffee? Unfortunately not. However, you can still get ethically-sourced and high-quality coffee at most Starbucks locations. Their Komodo Dragon Decaf Blend was once unique as it utilized Swiss Water Process decaffeination; unfortunately they have since discontinued this blend and use instead the Direct Method which uses chemicals such as Methylene Chloride to remove caffeine molecules from green coffee beans. This article will explore why they do not provide certified organic decaf as well as better options available locally cafes.
